While Australian standards remain important and relevant, the role of international standards has become more vital as trade and new technologies transcend national borders and institutional boundaries.  Monique will outline the role of ISO and that of its composites subcommittee which, through international cooperation is maintaining and reviewing existing standards and developing new ones for material inputs, processes, products and evolving technologies.
